Dogs and stuck things
Dogs are known for getting into things they shouldn’t. Here are some samples.
Dog ate pantyhose (she is under anesthesia getting ready for surgery).
Dog ate needle (got stuck in tongue at base).
Dog got plant awn stuck up nose.
Close-up of plant awn from number 3.
Dog fell climbing over fence and got part of fence stuck in deep wound.
Dog playing with other dog playmate – the ring holding the tags on the playmates coller got stuck in the skin around this dog’s eye. (The eye was ok.)
Puppy choked on a small piece of rawhide, then coughed it up into the space behind his nose, where it got stuck and had to be removed under anesthesia.
Lucy the dog ate an ‘SOS’ pad being used to clean the grill. It had to be removed at surgery.

Gizmo ate the owner’s thong underwear (5 pair!) He vomited 2 pairs and passed 3 others (this is Gizmo looking at the offending items).
Dog ate 2 pennies that were removed with endoscopy. (Pennies contain zinc which causes a significant anemia in dogs.)
They get into trouble, but we love them anyways!

I laughed when I saw the dog with the tag in his eye. My dog and my roommates dog were playing when they got stuck together. My dog's S-clip had gotten caught in her dog's eye. We drove to the vet, with my roommate hyperventiliating. The best part was that her dog was totally ok. She was crying and I was scared, and he was just hanging out with a giant collar hanging out of his eye (he is a chihuahua, so the collar was almost as big as him!). The vet took it out (with the help of anesthesthia), but she said she had never seen anything like that in 20 years. I am glad to see that we are not the only ones this has happened too!

So, there are a lot of troubles with pets. But they are funny. Every dog have its own ethos and home dogs try imitate people. Today I sow man tried persuading to finish walk his dog. It was somewhat! Dog-girl like a true lady sat on footway and pretend that it doesn't see its master. It lasted for a long time. This seemed as married couple argue :)

i prefer pictures of pets with giant cones over thier heads as opposed to those that are more unclear and leave one's imagination to fill in the details. i have quickly learned to read your blogs FIRST before looking at the pictures.
i especially like the one about the poo poo leak. maybe my mom needs to get her tail amputated too...do you think that might work for her?
